Learning objectives
The main objective of this course is to offer students an overall vision of the main processes of the chemical industry globally, ranging from inorganic to organic industrial chemistry. In addition, economics concepts will be addressed in order to introduce students to the fundamental notions relating to the cost of producing a product and the financial management of a chemical plant.
Expected learning outcomes
This course aims to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of the fundamental processes of the chemical industry, both within organic and inorganic industrial chemistry. Furthermore, they will acquire basic economics skills that will prove essential for the effective management of a chemical plant.
