Learning objectives
The final exam includes the presentation and critical discussion of an intense experimental activity in the context of an original research project. The educational objective of the final exam is to provide students with a thorough and concrete understanding of the scientific method and its pratical application in the biomedical field.
Expected learning outcomes
At the conclusion of the activities related to the final exam, the student must have acquired the ability to correctly deal with a scientific problem and to plan and execute experimental activities.
The internship carried out, preferably, in the context of the activities of a research group will allow to acquire critical judgment skills of the results obtained. The drafting of the written dissertation, together with its presentation, will provide the ability to effectively communicate the results of the original research work and to discuss them in the context of the most recent knowledge in biomedicine.
