Learning objectives
The final exam for the accomplishment of the master's degree includes the carrying out of a practical evaluation test (Prova Pratica Valutativa, PPV) regarding the TPV and the presentation and discussion of the research thesis project performed by the graduating student. The educational goal of the thesis is to allow the student to acquire awareness of the experimental method, through the first-person completion of an experimental research project. This process includes the configuration and development of the project based on the state of the art, the elaboration of certain scientific premises, the pre-establishment of objectives, the choice or development of the most appropriate technologies, the results that are gradually gathered from experimentation and their organization and interpretation.
Expected learning outcomes
The test is aimed at ascertaining the professional skills acquired during the professional training in pharmacy and the level of technical preparation for attaining the pharmacist professional qualification. Furthermore, the student has to demonstrate the ability to disclose the experimental research work regarding his/her thesis project with mastery and a correct use of language, to discuss the results and to answer any questions or remarks arisen by the degree board.
