Learning objectives
- To acquire the knowledge of the principles of anesthesiology and intensive post-operative therapy with particular regard to the management of the patient suffering from cardiovascular pathology
- To acquire knowledge of extracorporeal circulation techniques and their application in the surgical treatment of cardiac and vascular diseases
- To acquire knowledge of cardiac surgery and vascular indications and techniques
Expected learning outcomes
- Know the anesthetic and resuscitation management regarding the patient suffering from cardiovascular pathology
- Know the indications and specialist cardiac surgery techniques
- Know the techniques of extracorporeal circulation and their application in the surgical treatment of cardiac and vascular pathologies

Assessment methods and Criteria
The exam will be written. It will mainly consist of multiple choice questions with the addition of some open questions, in addition it will be possible, at the discretion of the teacher, to carry out an additional oral test.
