Chemistry of Coordination Compounds and Organometallic Chemistry
A.Y. 2024/2025
Learning objectives
The course aims to provide the basics of transition metal chemistry and their application in coordination complexes. This course represents an evolution of inorganic and organic chemistry, focusing on the chemistry of transition metals, of the inorganic and organic nature of chiral and non-chiral coordinated ligands and their application in particular in homogeneous catalytic reactions.
Expected learning outcomes
The expected learning outcomes will be focused on the development of a solid know-how in the field of the chemistry of coordination compounds with particular reference to the possibility of applying these notions in a context of research and development laboratories both in academia or in industrial reality.
