Biotechnologies for Innovation and Sustainability of Animal Health and Production

Learning objectives
The course will focus on biotechnologies applied to the research of innovative pharmacological and toxicological molecules, and the reduction of environmental impact applying new technologies, including the modulation of host-parasite dynamics that can affect animal health, survival and welfare. The course will provide a multidisciplinary approach of the latest developments within the topics mentioned with particular attention to the influence on animal and human health and environment
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will know: the main basic and advanced methodologies in the research field and will acquired the skills allowing him to identify the most suitable experimental models for biotechnological research. Specifically, students will acquire knowledge on:
