Learning objectives
Through this course, in the field of biological and pathophysiological disciplines, it will be possible to acquire knowledge of basic biochemistry that contributes to an understanding of the structure and function of cells and the molecular mechanisms of major biological processes. Through an in-depth study of the metabolic relationships among the various organs, useful knowledge will be provided to better understand human pathophysiology.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student should demonstrate that he/she knows and understands the general principles of biochemistry and the most relevant metabolic pathways operating in the human organism; furthermore, the student should have acquired the ability to integrate the topics illustrated and to re-elaborate the knowledge in an overall view.
