From 3d-Culture and 3d-Printing to Organoids

Learning objectives
Cells in vivo are in a three-dimensional environment. Cells cultured in 3D models have biophysical characteristic and biomechanical signals, which more accurately simulate normal cell morphology, proliferation, differentiation and migrations. The objective of the course is to give a comprehensive review of the main aspects and methods for 3D cell models from 3D-culture and 3d-printing to organoids.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student acquires a solid knowledge of in vivo cell environment. This knowledge finds applications to the use of appropriate 3D culture systems with biophysical and biomechanical features that more accurately simulate normal cell morphology, proliferation, differentiation and migrations.
