Learning objectives
Organic compounds are the basis for living organisms. This teaching will describe structure, physio-chemical properties and reactivity of the main classes of organic compounds, with particular emphasis for those important for environment.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the teaching the student will have acquired: - the capacity to understand the chemical structure and reactivity of organic compounds, and their environmental importance; - the knowledge of the main functional groups; - the knowledge of the fundamental techniques for the identification, separation and purification of organic compounds.
