Learning objectives
The main objectives of the course are to provide students with information on: 1) the main parasites of wildlife and the mode of transmission of parasitic infections; 2) the evaluation of strategies for the prevention and management of the main parasitic diseases.
Expected learning outcomes
The student will know the main parasite infection of wildlife and he will be able to understand their infection dynamics and the prevention and intervention strategies to limit their spread.

Course syllabus
An overview on life cycles and health and population dynamics of wildlife (i.e. domestic animals and wildlife sanitary interactions). In details, some parasites important in wildlife will be described and analyzed: Toxoplasma gondii, Trichinella spp., Echinococcus spp. and ticks e tick borne diseases (TBD).

Assessment methods and Criteria
The assesment method consist in a written examination. The student should properly write about the arguments of the course. The criteria of the evaluation include: critical and analytical capacity, course argument comprehension validation.
