Renewable Energies and Energy Savings for Agro-Zootechnical Systems
A.Y. 2022/2023
Learning objectives
Provide students with the knowledge about energy-saving solutions and the exploitation of renewable energy sources that can be used in agro-zootechnical systems as an alternative to fossil energy.
Expected learning outcomes
The course will provide the knowledge for evaluating the sustainability, and the economic convenience of the "green" technologies and solutions that could be applied in agro-zootechnical system, specifically to different farms, in accordance with the environmental requirements and regulations. The skills acquired will concern the technologies that can be applied mainly in animal farms, and in agriculture, such as, for example, energy produced by biogas plants, by photovoltaics, gassification and wind power.
