he course aims to provide an analysis of the history of economics, trade, and international economic relations in the long run, from antiquity to the contemporary age. The aim of the course is to provide students with the historical skills to interpret the genealogy and evolution of current complex phenomena related to globalization and international trade

The course aims to provide an analysis of the history of economics, trade, and international economic relations in the long run, from antiquity to the contemporary age. The aim of the course is to provide students with the historical skills to interpret the genealogy and evolution of current complex phenomena related to globalization and international trade.
At the end of the course, students will be provided with an understanding of fundamental concepts, interpretative skills, competence in data collection and critique, and terminology specific to the discipline.
Prerequisites for admission
Contemporary History is recommended.
