Learning objectives
The course aims to provide knowledge on the management of extensive and pastoral farming systems and their relationship with livestock species, the environment, animal welfare and the quality of related animal products.
Expected learning outcomes
Students will acquired knowledge to farming systems classification and management practices that characterize extensive farming and grazing practice. Furthermore, they will have to know how to relate these breeding practices with the aspects concerning the quality and enhancement of animal productions.
