Learning objectives
The aim of the internship is to provide the student with the practical skills and abilities necessary to interact safely and in different farming contexts with ruminants, pigs, horses, respecting their species-specific ethological characteristics.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the internship the student will be able to carry out a correct handling of the different species considered, a paramount competence when dealing professionally with animals' herds, as it significantly reduces the stress of animals in their interaction with humans and positively influences the quality of their productions.

Teaching methods
Practical activity carried out on farm, or at the Centro Zootecnico Didattico Sperimentale. The work will be carried out by the students individually or in groups under the direct supervision of the teacher.
Teaching Resources
No specific textbook is provided. In relation to the specific different activities, reference may be made to scientific papers or book chapters.
Assessment methods and Criteria
Learning assessment will be performed directly during the practical activities. Each specific practical competence performed correctly by the student will be certified by the teacher using the logbook. The regular attendance of the activities and the achievement of the competences will result in an assessment of competence acquisition.
