First semester
The Microsoft Teams platform is used for the lessons and the students can follow the lessons synchronously on the basis of the first semester timetable. The program and reference material will not be affected.
The remote exams will be carried out using the Microsoft Teams platform in oral form, in the manner illustrated on the University portal. The candidate will have to carry out exercises and answer theory questions. The candidate's correctness of expression and good use of chemical language will be evaluated. Furthermore, the ability to connect between the various topics covered in the course will be evaluated. The vote will be expressed out of 30.

Assessment methods and Criteria
The exam consists of a written test (lasting 2 hours) with 5 exercises and 1 open question. Each exercise is worth 5 points. The results of the exam will be communicated via SIFA. The correctness of the candidate's language and of the chemical terms will be evaluated. Furthermore, the ability to link the various topics covered in the course will be evaluated. The vote will be out of 30. The test includes all the topics of the course plus those covered in the laboratory. Participation in the laboratory is subject to the frequency of the lesson on safety and laboratory behavior. The lesson material is available online on the Ariel platform. Material useful for the exam are molecular models.
Students with DSA certification are required to promptly notify the Teacher to agree on the methods of examination. Students enrolled in an exam session and no longer wishing to support it are required to unsubscribe.
Lectures and practical laboratory activities are part of the course.
The exams will take place at the Edolo if the enrolled students will be at least 5; otherwise, they will take place at the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences, via Celoria 2, Milan. Any additional exam sessions for motivated needs of Out of Courses students can be activated in Milan.
